关于召开“ 2014第三届中国锂电池隔膜研讨会”的通知

一、背景

2013年，受消费类电子产品和小型动力电池市场的驱动，锂离子电池行业继续保持良好的增长。隔膜约占锂电池制造成本的20~30%，对锂离子电池安全、性能和成本有重要影响。

隔膜是技术壁垒最高和国产化率最低的锂电池材料。至2013年，中国市场的高端隔膜产品仍需要大量进口。国际隔膜行业形成了旭化成、Celgard、东燃等为领先企业，SK、宇部，Entek和国内企业如星源材质、格瑞恩等作为追随者的市场格局。

2014年2月，湖南中锂新材料有限公司的锂电池隔膜一期项目投产，产能为2500万平方米/年。媒体透露，《通用锂离子电池聚烯烃隔膜》国家标准正在进行数据验证与标准修订工作，并有望于2014年发布。

近几年来，国内还有数十家投资者计划或正在参与投资隔膜项目。国内隔膜行业在面临巨大的市场机遇的同时，也面临着技术制约和投资过热的风险。行业内新型隔膜技术和产品也不断出现，成功与否正在被时间和事实所检验。

2014 China LIB Separator Conference

Background

In 2013, driven by the consumer electronic products and small power batteries market, lithium-ion battery (LIB) still keeps steady growth. Separator accounts for 20-30% of the LIB total cost, and has the significant impact on the safety performance and cost of the battery.

Separator is the kind of battery material which has the highest technology barriers and lowest localization rate. Up to 2013, in China’s market, lots of high ended separators need to be imported from overseas. The global market leaders include Asahi Kasai, Celgard, Tonen, and the followers includes SK, UBE, Entek and local companies like Senior and GREEN etc.

In Feb. 2014, Hunan Zhongli New Materials Company started up the phase I LIB separator projects with capacity of 25 million M2/a. Industrial media released that is under data verifying and revising, and to be published in 2014.

In recent years, there are dozens of other domestic investors eager to enter the separator field. China’s separator industry is not only facing the huge market growth opportunity, but also hiding the technical constraints and risks of over investment. The innovative technologies and products are continuously emerged in the separator industry. currently, it is verifying the success.
